The Bloody Red Baron

We've had a busy week at school
the end of year is close.
The final concert, kids so cool
the long hours; feeling gross.
On Thursday lunchtime teachers sang
on karaoke, entertaining,
kids stood 'round while cloud tops rang
and prayed it would start raining...
but on we went, my mate and I
to sing the Snoopy song.
She sang and I just tried to fly
and hoped I'd do no wrong.
